Time to update

I haven't posted since June! And as we all know a lot can happen in a week let alone a month, so here was my July.

I went to Anchorage with my parents and had fun with them, got the pictures that Megan and Micah took before family camp and than tried to get my room clean before I was to leave for down states. Which never fully got done and that is now on my to-do list before school starts in a couple of weeks. YIKES!

I got th enjoy a really good time down in Washington first, flew out of Bethel the night flight and got to Washington that morning, was picked up by Jacob Doran and went to see my awesome friend, and my boyfriends sister, which I had not seen in a year! It was so much fun!! spending time with the kids and and hanging out with Bek was so much fun! It's like she's the sister I never had, caring and supportive and gives advice when its needed, and great at teaching me how to make non dairy meals(zay can't have milk ):

Bek and I also got to go thrift store shopping and that was so fun! While she tried to figure out my style (which is kinda confusing lol) we got to just chat and laugh about things, and of course Alana was there to be silly and make me laugh more :)

Than we also had to finish packing for the 12 to 13 hour drive we had the next day to Montana!! So with packing and showering and a little bit of cleaning we were going to try to get a few hours of sleep before trying to leave at 7 am, well we ended up waking up at 7 am instead of leaving, but we got ourselves together and the kids and got them loaded up! and around 8:45 we headed out of Sedro Wooly WA. to go see zay's family for his grandparents 60th anni. (such a long time!) The trip was so fun, listening to music and stories and talking, we laughed and learned more about each other while we all sweated together through the hot lands of WA. (the suburban had no AC) We had windows down most the time and I got this awesome "farmers tan", as Matt called it, on one arm.

We also got to have SONIC!!! I was a happy girl :P I never knew there was a sonic in Idaho...and all those years of living there...I'm dissapointed... lol So anyways,We got to Montana after seeing some really beautiful lands and a really big lake. and I got to spend the rest of the weekend, Friday-Monday in Montana with Zay's family, meeting them, celebrating his grandparents 60th, fellowship and something that felt so wonderful on a horribly hot day...tubing down the river!! It was such a blast!!

But unfortunatly all good thigns must come to an end and at 4:30 Tuesday morning Zay and I left for the airport to go back home. I was flying standby so I didn't know if I would even be able to make any of the flights for sure, let alone sit by zay on any of them, but the Lord was so good to me and I was able to get on the flights AND sit by zay, it made the flights fo much better. :)

Well this is getting almost horribly and boringly (is that a word?) long so I will stop and tell you more about whats been going on since June. :)

Until when ever,
Sare :)

Soooooo hope everyone is doing good! and I love ya'll!

So I was looking back on past posts to only discover that I have comments!! I didn't think I had any, so from now on after I post I guess I will just have to make sure to check since blogger doesn't tell you. It wasn't that I didn't want to say anything back to your guys comments in the past, I just didn't know I had them! Thanks to everyone that has commented, it makes me feel special :)

Also I was so caught up in how I had been feeling from the boat ride on my last post that I forgot to also tell you guys that Isaiah let me drive the boat!! It was my first time and was pretty fun..until he had me go towards his families fish camp where the river is a bit more twistier? is that a word? lol. Anyways It was kind of scary at that point trying to turn faster than what I was ready for and going so fast, I was like how do you slow this thing down!! but he didn't hear me so..Now I feel kinda silly about it because I knew how, I was just scared to touch the controls with out talking to him...

But to also talk about this past weekend, It was so fun! The kids and I cleaned and washed Isaiah's car for the first time since I've met him! and Zay worked on a surprise project for Earnie and the other kids, Monkey bars!! Than on Monday Zay finished the project and than we helped his dad clean up his grandpa's grave. The day was really nice and not to hot, Thank the Lord. We had a kinda busy weekend and I think the busy part has continued in to the week! Isaiah starts his new job today but will only be there for a short time since he has jury duty today and tomorrow, than Thursday will be his first full day at Unicom. And I am about to run out the door so I can go help set up a birthday party for a friends daughter. The fun never ends in Bethel it seem like!

Hope everyone had a great weekend and continues to have a great day!

A beautiful insight

So Sunday was a really nice day. There was morning service and we learned about raising up, lifting up, looking up and standing up for the Lord, Than after service we celebrated Earnies 8th birthday! I really enjoyed the fellowship and had fun watching the kids run around. Afterwards Zay and I picked up Tony and they shot some hoops while i stayed in the car since I was way to hot in what I was wearing (it was 72 degrees today!!) And than we got my friend Rachel and went to night service. Afterwards Tony Zay and I went on the river and went smelting, (tiny little fish that are only in town for a day). When we were getting ready to go the the boat harbor it seemed like it wanted to rain. After a little bit of prayer and a positive attitude we went out on Zay's new boat, which made it such a nice ride compared to last year :)

While riding along I was listening to my music and this song came on and it said "Don't close your eyes. This is your life and today is all you got now, and today is all you ever have. Don't close your eyes, this is your life, ARE YOU WHO YOU WANT TO BE?" And after a little more prayer for it to clear up some more and than listening to this song, sunlight just hit my eyes and I blinked, there was a whole in the cloud and the sun was shining through, just a little to the side there was sunlight beams through other parts of the clouds and I just sat that so amazed at the beauty of it. I almost wanted to cry. The Lord is so good to me, he is so merciful and just looking at the light and looking up at the clouds above us, I was just so amazed, he made everything around us and we don't thank him enough for it. I felt so small beneath those clouds but at the same time I felt so much bigger, because the Lord cares about me and he loves me. I have never had a feeling like this. And I have to say, it was a wonderful experience.

We are never guaranteed tomorrow, we only have today, are we who we want to be?? Are we who we really want to be, instead of just another clone of todays society? The rest of that boat ride to where we were dipping I just looked at the sky and thanked the Lord for everything he had done for me. He gave me such a beautiful day and an appreciation of something I once hated. Bethel is such a beautiful place and I have grown to love it here.

Are you someone that is so caught up in everyday things that you have forgotten to stop and smell the flowers?? I use to be, busy everyday not really paying attention to things, takeing for granted what I had. But today I was ale to find beauty and love in something so small as just some sunshine through the clouds. Bethel has transformed me so much these past 3 years and I wouldnt give it up for anything.

So I haven't posted in a while because I have been really busy. So for those that don't know and would like to know what's been going on. This has what my past two months have been.

April- I was never home, I spent the whole month practically in town because at 8:00-9:00 AM I was going to school, from 9 AM until 4 PM I am in school, than I went to work at about 4:20, than until 8:30 or so (depending on if it's Wednesday or not) I work at the hospital. After I get off work, i either go to Isaiah's and hang out with him and some friends, or I go to Brandon's. At 11:30 or so I go over to Brandon's if not already there and from then until 8 AM I am babysitting for him. It's not hard since she's already sleeping, I just have to help her get dressed in the morning. I did that schedual the whole month almost. The last weekend of April/ first weekend of May I had to dog sit. That was kinda fun too.

May- Isaiah, being so awesome!, helped me clean up the whole house before my family came home. On Monday, both my brothers, my sister-in-law and my grandparents all came back with my parents. They spent the week here. May 7th was my parents anni. party, and that was really stressful!! just ask Isaiah... Than my family left on the 8th. The rest of the month has been speeding by so fast with school, senior graduating and all late work being due, This past weekend we had Ladies Retreat, where I was unfortunatly really sick most the time and didn't get to really enjoy it like I was hoping to. And now, today is Tuesday, I have been studying for finals and taking them, right now I have passed all the ones that I've taken. Really hoping this streak will continue. Lord help me there please! And on Friday, I will be extremly happy because that will e the last day of school for me!!

So that is about what all I have been doing, time has just been flying by and I have been really busy, really looking forward to my first actual day of sleeping in for summer, before I have to go back to work.. So until I have some more time to post. I will talk to you guys later :)

just thought it was cute

A girl asked a guy if he thought she was pretty and he said no. She asked him if he would want to be with her forever and he said no.She then asked him if she were to leave would he cry, and once again he replied with a no. She had heard enough. As she walked away, tears streaming down her face the boy grabbed her arm and said.... You're not pretty you're beautiful. I don't want to be with you forever. I NEED to be with you forever. And I wouldn't cry if you walked away...I'd die... ♥♥

what to do?

So this summer sems like it may be a very very busy summer if everything happens...

First- There is the ANSEP academy that I would love to go to so I can get a head start on some classes before nursing, BUT it interfers with family camp....I want to ask them if they will let me leave for 4 or 5 days but I'm not so sure they will.

Second- Theres family camp and convention! I really want to go and it would be such a true blessing to me and my spiritual walk!

Third- I was invited to something certain in July that I will probs discuss more later on.

Fourth- My little sister from Big Brothers Big Sisters is leaveing and moving back to Hawaii, I am for sure going to spend some time with her before I leave, but heres the tricky question, when am I leaving?

Fifth- A friend of mom and I invited me to be his assistant for a company he works for, it would be a month long tour through Washington and Oregon. But thats only if it actually happens(you know how the economy is right now) and if I do that, he will be able to let me go to the certain event in July.

Sixth- If all else fails, I get to work here in Bethel for the summer, or go traveling and see some friends and family before I start my senior year.

Now that I have said all that, I should say how my summer would look if everything happens...
End of May, after school gets out, I would go to the academy (maybe, hopefully go to family camp) than get back close to 4th of July, maybe have 4th of July here, maybe not. Than early July I will go down to California to help our friend Gary out and travel with him for a month, meanwhile going to that special event in late July, than in early August I will come back to Alaska and get ready for school. Is it me or does that sound like a busy summer?

Now, this is all depending on everything happens and it happens how I want it to, but we know the Lord and how he tests us at times, So I wonder what to do if I get accepted to the academy but can't go to camp, should I just go to camp and forget the academy or go to the academy and say "hey, there will be camp again next year" ? and who knows if I actually will end up going to help Gary out. Lord, I just want your will to be done, show me what you want me to do this summer please!

Well time for church so talk to you later!

Sick :(

Well I am now officially sick! Went to bed last night with a slight sore throat and woke up this morning with a stuffed nosed, slight head-ache, sore throat that I cant speak with, and an achy body. I was even kind of looking forward to going to school today to! I can't even talk, it hurts to much, and everyone that knows me, knows I like to talk.... a lot :P lol Thinking though, I might try go to work a little later since they let me leave early the past few days, or I might just call my boss and tell her I can't come in. Everyone in my office has been getting sick so I think she will understand.

Well I am going to take a hot HOT hot bath and hope my hurting body likes it, and my swollen throat glands will go down. Lord I hope I can make it to church tonight! Pray for me please!

Laters,
Sare

Well today is Tuesday and it's almost 7th hour! So I get to go to work soon! yay!. and umm, I got to talk to Bekka (SP) for a little bit today so that made me happy :) Also I was told something special about school and how they have the quarters and semesters set up, it was such a relief to hear that! I feel so much better now that I'm not so stressed out about school!

My friend Nonni and I made a Childrens book for class, maybe I'll be able to show it off a little bit later on. Anyone wanting to hear about Patrick the penguin and how he didn't listen? lol ok well I think this will be good for a first time blog. What you think?

So until whenever I guess... Bye!
